Tree's out for Summer! 🌳

You know you’ve been in a building a long time when a tree decides to move in through the roof!

A tree had started growing out of our roof, and while we love nature as much as the next charity, this one was getting a little too ambitious. We were genuinely worried it could damage the building and affect the vital support we provide to those who rely on us.

With generous support from Johnathan Price at Warrington Borough Council and Stephen Fitzsimons at Warrington Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the wonderful team at Complete Roofing came to the rescue. This was a big relief for us and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made it happen.

Thank you for keeping our roof tree free and our building safe!

ABOUT US >

Room at the Inn is a charity that was launched after the closure of the Warrington YMCA.

We provide daytime services to homeless and vulnerable people at our site on Winmarleigh Street Monday to Friday between 10am to 5pm on a walk-in basis and also operate a supported accommodation hostel on Museum Street for people who have been referred by WBC.

Our goal is to help people to access the services they need to go forward more positively with their lives. Our dedicated staff and volunteers support people through very difficult times and help them to find a better future.

Not everyone, without help, will be able to move forward because of the challenges that they have.
